The Saxdor 320 took the recreational boating world by storm, with its incredible styling, brilliant drivability, astonishing performance and clever design which, with the assistance of its drop down terraces, gives you the entertaining space of a much larger boat.
It appears that Saxdor are now set to shake-up the market even further with the Saxdor 400, which officially launches in September at the Cannes Boat Show, and will likely be available in Australia from early 2024 in very limited numbers.
Here’s a sneak peek at the Saxdor 400, and there is some really exciting stuff that has been revealed.
Given that the drop down terraces were such a hit with the Saxdor 320, it is no surprise that the 400 features even larger versions. At almost 4 metres long, and extending half way up the cabin, it not only provides the entertaining space of a significantly larger boat, but is also provides a remarkable cabin that flows seamlessly outside on three sides.
We can also see the glass rail at the rear of the boat, a design which proved popular on the Saxdor 270 GTO. The large sunbed at the rear almost seems small given how much space there is at the back of the boat, although the T-top, which has a large sunroof, provides plenty of shade if you want it.
Up front, there is a huge area with seating for up to 6 people, with a table that converts to another large sunbed, providing plenty of options for soaking up the sun. There are several clever design features, including what appears to be drink holders integrated into the design. Premium stereo speakers will ensure that your favourite tunes are available in every zone of the boat.
The Helm is offset, but incredibly spacious, with space for two people to be upfront with the driver. Overhead is a large T-top with excellent integrated LED lighting, and a vast sun-roof which will either let the sun in, or keep you out of it if you need some shade. Next to the helm appears to be a large wetbar with fridges, perfect for keeping drinks cool and entertaining family and friends.
Behind the driver is a large seating area with table, which clearly can convert into a large sunbed. With the sides down, the boat feels incredibly spacious, and you feel immediately connected to the water and your surrounds…
If that’s not enough, moving downstairs, you’ve got a double cabin upfront which offers incredible head room, and ensuite heads with electric toilet and shower as standard
With the option of an additional kids cabin as well . . .
and the option of a second double cabin, which can be specified in two lengths and appears to have some great storage lockers.
