Scandinavian Design. Effortless Boating. Premium Quality.
Finnish-built quality, premium Nordic design and effortless performance.
The Quarken 27 Cabin is one of the most refined and enjoyable adventure day boats in its class — ready to deliver thrilling drives, effortless handling, and a confident boating experience. With a social, flexible layout, generous forward cabin, and a higher level of standard specification, it’s designed for families, friends, and first-time boaters who want safety, comfort, and style on the water.
Designed and built in Finland for simple, enjoyable boating.
Quarken has quickly established itself as one of the most exciting new names in the adventure boat market, winning “Best Sports Boat up to 30 Feet” at the prestigious Motor Boat Awards for its very first model.
Designed and Built in Finland
Every Quarken is designed and manufactured in Finland, home to some of the world’s most respected boat builders and marine craftsmen. Each boat is meticulously produced to exacting standards, delivering exceptional build quality, durability, and finish that Scandinavian boats are known for worldwide.
Practical Cabin Comfort
The 27 Cabin’s offset cabin design provides safe, comfortable access to the bow while retaining space in the main cabin — a clever solution on a sub-30’ boat.
The panoramic glass cabin provides a dry, warm, and protected space in cooler months or adverse weather, without disconnecting you from your surroundings. Inside, five forward-facing seats with luxurious trim can be reconfigured for guest-facing dining options. Sliding doors port and aft, plus a sliding window on starboard, give easy access to cleats and excellent cross-flow ventilation.
A forward cabin offers a double berth, sink, and toilet, providing privacy for guests or family to rest, freshen up, or stay overnight at anchor.
Designed for Easy Boating
The helm is positioned off-centre to starboard, maximising safe access to the bow while keeping cockpit space open. A slight hull flair toward the bow ensures a dryer ride and more generous forward space. Three forward-facing seats can surround a table for drinks or dining, and convert to a spacious daybed — perfect for social days on the water.
Premium Technology and Performance
Powered by the next-generation Yamaha F300 V6 4.2L Offshore outboard, the Quarken 27 Cabin delivers exceptional acceleration, handling, and reliability.
Standard features like Digital Electric Steering (DES) and fly-by-wire gear and throttle controls provide precise handling, smoother operation, and confidence on the water. Garmin navigation, Yamaha electronics, and Fusion sound come standard, providing a fully equipped, premium day boat from day one.
A Standout in the Adventure Day Boat Market
With its premium Finnish design, offset cabin, versatile layout, higher gunwales, enjoyable handling, and generous standard specification, the Quarken 27 Cabin offers a confident, safe, and fun boating experience — a clear alternative to other adventure day boats like Axopar or Saxdor.

The Reviews
Boat Life
Reviewed by Dan Jones of ‘Dan’s Boat Life’ fame, Dan was immensely impressed with its extremely high quality and superb, Scandinavian design. It seems the rest of the boating community have been equally impressed, with the following statement from Quarken being recently made; “We are pleased to announce that the Quarken 27 has been nominated for the prestigious ‘European Powerboat of the Year 2023’ award during the Cannes Yachting Festival in September 2022. This award is considered the boating industry’s Oscar for the best new motorboats of the season.” Born in Finland.

One of the most apparent innovations is the large pilothouse-style cabin, which is offset to the starboard side. The front window features a slightly reversed rake angle and a substantial ‘eyebrow’ to shield the glass from glare and rain. On the port side of the cabin, there’s a high-gunwale, single-level walkway connecting the cockpit to the foredeck.

It is sometimes said that there is “nothing new under the sun.” And this holds true for many of the boats we review, which are an evolution of previous models, with perhaps some refinement of an existing design. However, every so often, something emerges that shatters these preconceived notions.
Quarken / Motor Boat
As on the T-Top model, rather than opting for a full walkaround design, Quarken has offset the wheelhouse to starboard to create more space inside the cabin at the expense of a starboard side deck. That leaves room for a deep walkway along the port side, linking the aft cockpit with the more spacious foredeck lounge up front.
